Domain administration

This section is intended for domain administrators only.

As administrator of your company's domain :

  • You can administer all the projects in the domain (add users to a project, change their project rights);
  • From the "Domain management" page, you have access to four administration pages.

From your profile page, you can switch to single user mode by unchecking the box :

Users management

The user management page lets you add a new user to your domain, manage your users and assign them authorisations (the right to use) for the licences you own:

When you click on "Add a user", you will first be asked to enter their email address:

  • If the user's email does not exist in the Orbow database, you will be taken to a window asking you to enter the user's first and last name and a temporary password for the first connection.
  • If their email address exists in the Orbow database, then this user is either already a member of your domain or a member of another domain. In the second case, you will be asked if you wish to invite them to your domain.

For your information

Reminder: by default, guests in a domain do not see any projects in the domain hosting them.
They must be invited to a project to be able to see this project on the map and consult it.

Using the menu on the right, in the line for each user, you can :

  • reset a member's password,
  • remove a guest from your domain,
  • suspend and reactivate access to Orbow for one of your members,
  • delete a user account,
  • appoint a member as secondary administrator of the domain.

Users themselves will soon be able to recover their password by sending an e-mail.

Licence management

The licence management window lets you view :

  • the licences used in real time by your users ;
  • the number of licences at each level held by your domain.

The page will soon be upgraded, with the addition of peak licence usage per month and the calculation of the cost of the licence portfolio.

Projects management

This page allows the administrator to view the list of all projects, access them by their id and manage shared projects.

Shared projects

If a user has requested that a project in your domain be shared with another, you must validate that you accept this sharing by clicking on the👍 icon.

The administrator of the domain with which the project is shared must do the same for the sharing to take effect.

You can stop sharing at any time by clicking on the icon again.
You can also simply delete the share or change the project administrator on the target domain side using the menu on the right.

Projects list

In the "Project list" accordion, you can see a list of all the projects in your area.

It also allows the administrator to permanently delete (purge) a project deleted by a user, or to restore it if it has been deleted by mistake.

The filter field allows you to search all the columns in the table.

Coming soon

The page will soon be enhanced to show, in particular, the size of the data associated with each project.

Domain profile

On this page you can enter the name of the company and the logo that will be used in the editing reports.
